Latinx Heritage Month is celebrated and observed annually from September 15th to October 15th in the United States.
The importance of observing the contributions and significance of several Hispanic, Afro-Latinx, and Latinx individuals is to recognize the asset they are to our communities and country. Through praise and acknowledgment of who is the Hispanic, Afro-Latinx, and Latinx community on the Lafayette campus, we all come together.
As a part of our Latinx Heritage Month celebrations, we will be presenting various speakers in our new talk series “Cafe con Leche”, which will highlight Lafayette Latinx figures on various topics. Make sure to add our events to your calendar and take the time to celebrate Latinx Heritage Month 2023.
